London
Saturday 1st March 2025. London at noon.
Make your own way into London as you see fit. You are one of many who will be there to deliver your letter to Buckingham Palace. Travel by whatever route you prefer. If there is a group of you, watch out for each other. In any case, avoid any trouble from other groups or counter protestors.
There will be other events and rallies going on in London. If you are involved in those as well, do your best not to let one spoil the other. Otherwise, let them go about their business. Your priority is to deliver your letter.
Whether you just deliver it quietly or go with flags and banners, trumpets and drums is up to you. However, getting into a load of trouble will not help so bear that in mind. That said, having video footage might be a good idea.
It is illegal for you to be prevented from petitioning the King.
Note that you are not petitioning the Government, protesting against any particular thing or person etc. You are “Petitioning the King”. This is your legal protection.
Article five of the Bill of Rights 1688. Print a copy off and have it with you:
Right to petition.
That it is the Right of the Subjects to petition the King and all Commitments and Prosecutions for such Petitioning are Illegal.

At Buckingham Palace there are gatekeeper staff who may be able to take your letter or advise you where to hand it in.
Do NOT bother any military personnel, they have their own jobs to do and are pestered enough by tourists. The police can be asked for where to hand it over if needs be.
If there are a lot of people trying to hand in their petition letters at the same time as you just be patient, organise yourselves, be polite, form a queue. We are British after all.
If you are unable to hand over your petition, at least wave it at the palace and then post it in any Royal Mail post box. This is why it should be pre-addressed as a precaution.
